Meet Anusha Palagiri, Manager in Project Finance.

What does a Manager, Project Finance, do?

As a Manager, Project Finance, Anusha guides and mentors a team of Financial Analysts managing the India Mid-Large portfolio. Her responsibilities span project finance management, revenue and forecasting activities, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The work goes beyond numbers. By keeping projects financially healthy and well-managed, Anusha and her team indirectly contribute to the successful development of life-saving drugs in clinical trials and ultimately helping patients.

When asked what a typical day looks like- Depending on where the month stands, she could be in portfolio performance reviews, assessing revenue and forecast accuracy, or working through project overburn, billing positions and accounts receivable. And running through all of it, the client meetings, the escalations, the strategic conversations with her team, is a constant thread of mentorship and guidance that she considers just as much a part of the role as the numbers themselves.

When did you join Parexel, and why did you choose Parexel over our competitors?

I joined Parexel in July 2018. I was drawn to the company for its strong values, commitment to work-life balance, and the unique opportunity to create a positive impact on patients' lives. Although my contribution is indirect, knowing that our financial management supports drug development that helps patients provides immense work satisfaction.
