Meet Vidushi Dobhal, Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate
Vidushi Dobhal is a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate at Parexel, with over eight years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. From analytical characterization and process development to regulatory strategy, her journey reflects a deep commitment to science and patient impact.
Since joining Parexel in December 2022, she’s taken on global responsibilities in CMC regulatory strategy—supporting on-time registrations and life-cycle management for biologics across a diverse portfolio. Vidushi holds a master’s in biotechnology from Shoolini University (Himachal Pradesh University), where her research earned two patents and a publication.
Every day, she works at the intersection of science and strategy: authoring and reviewing regulatory documents, assessing change controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across time zones. But beyond the technical expertise, it’s her ability to bring empathy, purpose, and heart to the table that truly defines her work.

When did you join Parexel, and why did you choose us over others?
Before joining Parexel, I spoke to some of my ex-colleagues who were employed here, and that really made the difference for me. I got very positive feedback on the healthy portfolio of projects they were working on and how this diversity was helping them grow — both in their abilities and their knowledge. That perspective really resonated with me, and I decided to make the move.
How would you describe what it’s like to work at Parexel?
It’s like being part of a community where we’re all driven by the same goal: to enhance healthcare through science while truly living patient centricity. It’s demanding, exciting, and incredibly fulfilling.
If you could describe Parexel’s culture in one word, what would it be?
Living patient centricity. That mindset is truly at the heart of everything we do.
Fostering Collaboration
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from your colleagues?
Empathy and compassion, without question. It’s easy to get caught up in timelines, documents, and data in the regulatory world, but my peers at Parexel have continuously shown me how important it is to keep heart at the center of everything we do.
Can you describe a challenge you faced and how your team supported you through it?
I recently embraced motherhood, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive exceptional support from my manager and the wider organization. Flexible work arrangements have allowed me to navigate this new chapter, and I’ve come to deeply value Parexel’s culture of care. It reminded me that here, whatever we do, we do with heart.
What skills do you think are essential for someone applying to your role?
You have to be adaptable, continuously learning, and skilled at communicating across time zones and diverse teams. It’s not just about passing along updates — it’s about building relationships, aligning goals, and managing expectations so projects stay on track and people feel supported.
Beyond the Job Title
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
I work remotely and start my day later to align with client time zones, so I make the most of my early mornings. I’m an early riser, and those peaceful hours are my time — I do yoga and take a nature walk. It really grounds me for the rest of the day.
What was your dream job as a child, and how does it relate to what you do now?
I always dreamed of becoming a doctor. While I didn’t follow that exact path, the intent behind it — to contribute to people’s well-being — is still very much alive in my work today. Through regulatory affairs, I’m part of a process that helps innovative therapies reach patients faster. That sense of purpose has helped me find my niche.
What’s a book, podcast, or movie you’d recommend to your colleagues?
I’ve been reading a lot of spiritual and self-help books lately. My top recommendations would be The Art of Living by Thích Nhất Hạnh and Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. Both are deeply insightful and grounding.
